February 2021
Online Kick-Off Meeting
In February 2021, Partners participated in the Online Kick-off Meeting of the approved Erasmus Plus Sport Big Collaborative Partnerships Project Fit-Old “Interventions in Elderly People’s Mobility Modes for the Promotion of their Physical Activity and Fitness”. The event was attended by representatives of 7 Partner countries from Germany and Portugal, Poland, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Turkey. During the Kick-off Meeting the representatives agreed on the next steps of the Project timeline, including dissemination activities such as electronic and printed publications. Also the project website was created and promoted by MVNGO. The other partners of the project also disseminated the start of the project and the project activities were promoted through the website, social media tools.
July 2021
TPM (Lisbon, Portugal)
Partners gathered in Lisbon for the first face-to-face Transnational Project meeting. During the meeting, the Partners made the necessary preparations for the data collection for the first phase of the project. During the TPM, the expert João Magalhães conducted a workshop on the use of accelerometers, attended by all partners.
July 2022
TPM (Krakow, Poland)
During the third Transnational Project Meeting in Krakow, Poland, the partners mainly focused on the results from WP3 and the analysis of the data. The partners gained considerable experience in data collection and testing and even newcomers to the process gained a good understanding of the details involved.
In addition, other aspects were discussed such as increasing the consistency of the evaluation methods, a clear plan for the use of accelerometers was established. The partners started the intervention phase by sending SMS to all participants to promote their mobility and to be able to reach the target groups and they were invited to their predefined appointments, their phone numbers and contact details were collected and they agreed to cooperate with the project team.
Activities under WP5 and WP6 were planned, as well.
February 2023
TPM (Zagreb, Croatia)
Results of the second data collection phase were discussed during the Third Transnational Project meeting, hosted in Zagreb (Croatia). The partners in charge of the evaluation of results have been discussing about the analysis of data, in order to produce the scientific papers as well as the 8 booklets to be shared with local and European authorities.
May 2023
Final Evaluation Meeting (Sassari, Italy)
The Final Evaluation Meetingwas held in Sassari in May 2023. At this meeting, the publications under the WP4 as well as the booklets under WP5, have been analysed by the Consortium.
The partners planned the raising awareness events under the WP6 that will take place until the end of the project, in June 2023.
